Screaming NetTools for Android

This is another one that's been in the queue to update on here for a while. Screaming NetTools!

If you've ever been at a site and needed to scan an IP for vulnerabilities, establish a telnet/netcat session, run a whois, ping, dig, or nslookup, then this tool is for you!

Screaming NetTools is (admittedly) a niche tool, but for those of us who need it know exactly how helpful having the capability to do this sort of thing "on the road"!

Features:

  • FULL history with autocomplete and results reviewing
  • Email the results right from your phone
  • Ping (system-willing)
  • NSLookup, with all the classes and types you would ever need
  • WHOIS, including recursive WHOIS.
  • Dig, with all the types and classes you would ever need.
  • Set a custom nameserver for the tools that would utilize it (nslookup, dig, RBL)
  • IP Calculator, with hex, binary, and octal output.
  • The IP Calculator can calculate subnets or supernets too!
  • RBL Checker using one or more of about 40 RBL directories (SORBS, NJABL, Spamhaus, etc)
  • The RBL checker can also check domain names, not just IPs!
  • Hex/decimal/binary/ascii/IP converter
  • TCP connect() Port scanner
  • Netcat (tcp)/basic telnet

Wow!

Check it out here on the Google Market using your Android device!
