MediaMonkey Database Switcher

I've seen a couple threads on the MediaMonkey Forums looking for help on supporting multiple databases, and it just so happens that I needed something that would let me switch databases easily while I test my Play Server application.Screenshot

Being new to MediaMonkey, and not immediately seeing a solution to my problem, I went ahead and made my own!

Basically you use this program to switch the database and launch MediaMonkey. You can replace the MediaMonkey shortcut with a shortcut to this program, even.

Once loaded up you will see all the databases you have in your MediaMonkey database directory (C:\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\Application Data\MediaMonkey on Windows XP, for example). You simply select the database you want and click Start and this program takes care of the rest! You can even use it to create new databases.

What this program DOESN'T do is let you load databases from arbitrary directories, nor does it back up your databases in any way.

In fact, if you use this program you should take special care to back up your databases yourself! This program works great for me so far, and that's about it. If you use it, I can't take responsibility for anything that goes wrong (though I try and take every precaution not to screw something up)!
